Plastic Injection Molding

GLDC’s plastic molding operation has four (3) molding machines ranging from 400 to 1000 ton clamping pressure.
In addition to providing high-quality molded components, we also add value by offering assembly and decorating capabilities.
Molding machines are all computer controlled and equipped with material dryers for more control over processes.
Robots are used to reduce employee fatigue and increase safety and process consistency.

Unique Over-molding process

This process employs an innovative alternative to painting or coating of surfaces by injection molding plastic over a die cast substrate.
The environmentally friendly process gives durability and surface finished advantages, inherent to plastic coupled with the superior strength of aluminum.
Resultant parts can be offered in a wide variety of surfaces from high gloss to a grained finish. The finish product is not only more wear resistant than paint or powder coating, but it is less expensive than a painted die casting which
